Another Pretty Face...

In the sea of sport compact performance cars on the street today it would be easy to think this was just another pretty 1.8L Integra. But where a ridiculous spoiler and outrageous graphics are conspicuously absent, the list of modifications on the car reads like a NOPI catalog.

Get a little closer to the Dzus fastened carbon fiber hood and you'll notice that the Corbeau race seats and harnesses are tied to a 6 point roll cage. And if the SDS Engine Management system on the console doesn't convince you this car was built for speed, the hum of the Aeromotive fuel pump (good for 1,000 hp) will.

The 1.8L GSR motor pumps 9:1 pistons on Eagle rods. The adjustable cam gears dial in Type R bumpsticks. JUN valvesprings, titanium retainers, and 1mm oversize valves are covered by a Type R valve cover. Intake chores are handled be an Edelbrock JG manifold and DPR 64mm overbored throttle body.

The turbo system consists of a ceramic coated stainless steel tubular T4 turbo manifold, Turbonetic T4 60-1 turbo Pwheel, custom 3" mandrel bent downpipe, Tial 35mm/40mm hybrid wastegate, 2 1/2" custom intercooler piping leading to a Spearco intercooler, Greddy Type R blowoff valve, Turbonetic boost control regulator, and a 3" custom mandrel bent exhaust.

With the boost turned up to 18 psi, a 6 puck clutch and Quaife limited slip differential put 445 dyno proven horsepower to the wheels (510 hp at the crank) to the tune of consistent 11.00 second elapsed times at 133 mph. Aiding the car off the line is a MSD DIS2 with launch control. The roll cage and front lower X member keep the car stiff under power, while Ground Control coilovers, Koni Yellow adjustable shocks, and Energy Suspension bushings round out the suspension.

In the shutdown area, drilled and slotted EBC rotors with EBC redstuff brake pads and Neuspeed stainless brake lines haul the car back down to double digit speeds.

As you now can see, this car isn't just another pretty face. The list of mods goes on for another 3 pages, but we're out of space here. If you really want to know, the boys at Millennium Autosports in Norfolk would be happy to show you - or build you
one like it.
